The Most Difficult Part of Any Journey Is The First Step

Hello Folks,

This site will contain the official diary of my trip west to pick-up my nephew Brett and our return trip east to Saint John, NB - similar to Lewis and Clark - or was it Lois and Clark.

It has long been my dream to drive coast to coast and on Monday that dream will begin to be realized.

I'll post pictures and updates as I drive across the top of the US to Seattle, working my up to Vancouver, across to Victoria and then back to the mainland and through the Rockies, across the prairies, around the lakes, up the St. Lawrence River and then down the Saint John River valley to Canada's oldest incorporated city ..... Saint John.

So check back often to see how I am doing (initially) and how Brett and I do on the run back across Canada - the adventures and mis-adventures we have on the way - it just may be the ultimate reality show - or maybe surreality show!!

More tomorrow as I pack the van and get ready to head out. Wait until you see what I am packing.....
